A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party service that supplies the result. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we use the information in your message only to respond.

Hosting services create ordinary logs, such as an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We use aggregated information to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.

We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.

The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
You may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a website keeps. Minnesota’s current consumer-privacy framework is Minn. Stat. ch. 325M. Government records held by Minnesota, Ramsey County, or Shoreview remain with their custodians and follow the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minn. Stat. ch. 13.
